Frank J. Legath Sr., 89, of Northampton, died June 29, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Emma (Weiss) Legath for 66 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Ulrich and Johanna (Sloklickovits) Legath.

He was in the U.S. National Guard for eight years.

He was a truck driver for the former Sunshine Biscuits, later Kellogg’s, for 20 years.

He was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Frank Jr.; a daughter, Kathleen Richards; three grandchildren, Derek, Meagen and Tyler; and two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Katie.

He was predeceased by a three brothers, Ulrich, John and Joseph; and a sister, Jennie.
