Mary L. Bishop, 88, of Salisbury Township, died June 22, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late George W. “Bill” Bishop Jr. Born in South Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Tilghman C. and Ella G. (Butz) King.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown.

She was a 1950 graduate of Allentown High School and a 1954 graduate of Kutztown Teachers College. She taught for several years in the Parkland School District.

She is survived by nephews, Robert Brunner, Thomas and Stephen; nieces, Karen and Laura Brunner, Jane Degruchy, Brooke. She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine E. Brunner.
