Johnna Zemlansky, 43, of Slatedale, died at home June 23, 2020, after a fight with breast cancer. She was the wife of Michael Zemlansky for 16 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Rosann (Fodor) and the late Robert Hantz.

She was a Class of 1995 graduate of Northampton Area High School.

She was employed by Dr. Joseph and Lisa Silvaggio as a dental assistant.

She was a member of Assumption of Mary Church, Slatington.

She was a member of the Diamond Fire Company, Walnutport. She was a team mom for Northern Lehigh Youth Athletic Association football.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Jonathan; a mother-in-law, Sally Wilmot; a father-in-law, Michael Zemlansky; two aunts and an uncle, Maria Reimer and Monica and Stephen Fedorak; three cousins, Stephen Fedorak with Tanya, Christina Hinkle with David and Justine Gibson with Paul and all their children; and her lifelong friend, Gretchen Fritchey.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Gertrude Fodor; and a stepfather-in-law, Douglas Wilmot.

A scholarship will be established in her memory for a senior wrestler at Northern Lehigh High School. Contributions may be made to Michael Zemlansky.
