James W. Masteller, 85, of Allen Township and formerly of Bethlehem, died July 4, 2020. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Raymond and Emma (Souders) Masteller. He was the husband of Betty (Ramberger) Masteller for 43 years.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 34 years before retiring in 1986.

He was a former member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Diane Rogan (Bill) of Moore Township and Dale Masteller (Maria) of Catasauqua; five stepchildren, Robin Forte and Jan Pazienza (Joseph), all of Florida, Jamie Brekus (Peter) of Bethlehem, Robert Kvacky (Debbie) of Fountain Hill and Joel Kvacky (Marsha) of Moore Township; a sister, Jane McGough of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three sisters; one brother; and two grandchildren, Caleb Dancho and John Forte.

Services will be private.
