PA Housing Finance Agency began accepting CARES applications for financial assistance for renters and homeowners financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as of July 6.
Pennsylvania renters could qualify to receive assistance equal to 100 per cent of their monthly rent up to $750 a month for a maximum of six months of assistance for the time period between March 1 and Nov. 30. PHFA assistance is also available for qualified homeowners for up to $1,000 a month for a maximum period of six months.
