Voluntary fall athletic workouts began at Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School June 29. For the first two weeks, the workouts are only open to SHS students in grades nine through 12. Looking ahead to the fall 2020-2021 school year, Salisbury Township School District is looking for volunteers to join a focus group. This focus group will review and provide feedback on the plan the district is working on to ensure the health and safety of students and staff in the district, before it is presented to the school board. If you are interested in being considered for this focus group, complete the form located on the school district website under NEWS.

The Salisbury Township School Board is looking for applicants to fill a vacancy on the board due to the resignation of school board member Courtney Gibbs, whose term would have ended December 2021. Applicants must be a citizen of Pennsylvania, be 18 years or older, be a resident of Salisbury Township for at least one year and be of good moral character. Applicants must submit a letter of interest to Board Secretary Michael Taylor by 3 p.m. July 3. Any questions should be directed to Taylor at mtaylor@salisburysd.org.

Salisbury Township drop-off centers are open on alternating weeks. Franko is open the week of June 29, Devonshire the week of July 6. The centers are open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Please note, the centers are closed July 3 and 4 to celebrate Independence Day.
