Betty J. Schlener, 89, of Macungie, died June 28, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Schlener, who died earlier this year. She was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Effie V. (Leiby) Beck.

She worked as a presser for American Dry Cleaners for over 30 years and enjoyed puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Melody J. and her husband, Richard Colfer, of Alburtis; grandchildren, Christoper and his wife, Sara Colfer, Heather J. Colfer; great-grandson, Rylan Colfer and another great-grandchild on the way; 26 nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Clifford, Lester and Melvin; sisters Ruth, Alma and Janet.

Services will be held 11 a.m. July 2 at the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. A viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m.
