Arthur “Buster” L. Shimer Sr., 85, of Bethlehem, died June 25, 2020, at his residence. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Elmer and Mable Susan (Weiland) Shimer. He was the husband of the late Mary (Sciarra) Shimer.

He retired as a custodial shift supervisor after 40 years in general services with the Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He was of the Lutheran Faith.

He is survived by two sons, Wayne and his wife Shelley and Arthur Jr. and husband Tim McFalls; a stepdaughter, Patty Zoksseski and her husband Frank; a stepson, Robert Ardelean; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Anna-Marie Shimer; a stepdaughter, Brenda Flores; a stepson, Ronald Ardelean; and a grandson, Luke Justin Shimer.
