The Celtic Cultural Alliance Celtic Classic Highland Games and Festival’s Youth Celtic Fiddle Competition will be held September 26, 2020, at the Charles A. Brown Ice House, 56 River St. The contest primarily focuses on Irish, Scottish, Cape Breton, Shetland, and Galician Celtic fiddling styles.

There are two age categories. Monetary prizes are given to the top three in each division. Judges are professional fiddle players who perform at Celtic Classic.

A Celtic fiddle workshop for youth will be held at 10 a.m. September 27 at the Celtic Heritage Hollow stage. D’Arcy Furniss of the Glengharry Bhoys is the instructor.
