Janis R. Cogley, 65, of Salisbury Township, died May 28, 2020, in Above & Beyond at Mountain View, Allentown. Born in Bishop, Calif., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Wallace) Woolery.
She received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from State University of New York, Plattsburgh campus.
She worked as a registered nurse for 12 years including time at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Later, she was an adjunct professor at Northampton Community College for several years and also worked as a health care consultant before retiring.
She attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Allentown.
She enjoyed cooking, skiing, traveling, martinis and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Meghan W., of Hazel Township; siblings, Susan and her husband, John Landis, of Camp Hill, Michael Woolery and his wife, Cindy, of Arkansas, Lisa Woolery, of Northampton, Mass., Don Woolery, of Boca Raton, Fla., Jill Zak, of California.
Services are private. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
