Carl J. Rieker Jr., 85, of North Catasauqua, died May 27, 2020, at ManorCare, Allentown. He was the husband of Yvonne M. (Cunningham) Rieker for 66 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Carl J. Sr. and Claire (Lennon) Rieker.

He was a 1952 Catasauqua High School graduate where he played football and baseball.

He was a carpenter and rigger for more than 40 years for Bethlehem Steel Company. He also worked for two years for Ingot Mold.

He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and the former St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church, both in North Catasauqua.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael and his wife Tina; three daughters, Debbie Farkas and her husband Steve, Kathy Probst and Patti Miller; two brothers, Thomas and his wife Yoni and James and his wife Cathy; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Claire Norton; and a son-in-law, Dave Probst.

Services will be private.
