There is a Star among this darkness,

And his name is God;

Be sure you take him with you,

Where ever you may trod.

The world is full of heartache,

With sickness, and with death;

But, I believe it’s in his plan

To keep us under stress.

He’s cast a plague upon us,

Now the world is quite a mess.

In one way or the other,

All of us have sinned;

Our Lord has come to cleanse this earth,

To make it pure again.

We can’t undo the wrong we’ve done,

But we can do our part,

To help each other every day,

From deep within our heart.

Spread love throughout our space;

Let God see your face;

Speak to him with grace;

Your sins he might erase!

Call your friends and neighbors,

Check that they are safe;

I know that God is watching, and,

He’ll know that we have faith

Say your prayers every night,

Show him the gifts you give;

I know our Lord will hear your prayers,

And just might let us live.
