Kathryn H. Shankweiler, 66, of Nazareth, died May 14, 2020, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Helen (Kochenash) Schenk.

She was a 1971 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School. She earned an associate degree in early childhood education from Monroe Community College, Rochester, N.Y., and a medical office management diploma from Allentown Business School.

She was a customer service representative for the past seven years with Sodexo Food Services at Moravian College. She was, earlier, an elementary school teacher assistant and an early childhood educator. She was an insurance secretary with Finance America, Allentown, for five years.

She was a former Girl Scout leader and a former member of the Coplay Garden Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Jamie Katrina and her husband Joseph Marchiano Jr. of Bethlehem; a brother, John D. Schenk and his wife Susan of Coplay; a sister, Patricia A. and her husband Douglas Sammak of Whitehall; a grandson, Anthony Joseph; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Michael P. Schenk.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
