Northampton Exchange Club has made the decision to cancel its Community Days fair, scheduled for July, because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The annual event features live bands, carnival rides and more. A fireworks display always ends the final night with a bang.

The organization has no plans to reschedule the event for later in the year. Reportedly, there was discussion of attempting a family picnic later in the summer, but that idea has not gained momentum.

Community Days is the third event the Exchange Club has had to cancel this year, following the annual craft fair and Service to Youth program, which recognizes and honors two Northampton Area High School students monthly.
