Dennis J. Bobita, 74, of Lehigh Township, died May 25, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Rosalie A. (Luksa) Bobita for 51 years.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Kitt) Bobita.

He was a Palmerton High School and Bloomsburg University graduate.

He was vice president of product development for Fresh Pet Kitchens, Bethlehem. He worked previously for Alpo-Purina Corporation, Allentown. He was an officer of the Pet Food Institute.

He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.

He was an Eagle Scout in the Palmerton troop.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brian J. of Northampton; two sisters, Joanne Harris and Annette and her husband Dominick Fantasia, all of Palmerton; and two nieces, Dominique and Mia.

Services will be private.
