STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family?
A. My dad Steven, my mom Carrie, my brother Zack, my stepdad Richard and four dogs between the two houses I live in.
Q. What have you most enjoyed about being a senior at Emmaus High School?
A. I have most enjoyed the increased freedom that comes with growing up along with making so many great memories with my friends.
Q. What is your favorite subject?
A. I enjoy working with numbers, so I like math, but this year my economics course was by far my favorite. It was a fun class and I had a great teacher.
Q. Have you received any special recognition?
A. I was accepted into National Honor Society last year as a junior as well as Spanish National Honor Society. I was also fortunate enough to receive the Presidential Academic Scholarship at Moravian.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. I love sports. Throughout the day I will always have a baseball, football or basketball in my hands. I’m typically doing something sports related in my free time along with playing video games with my friends.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. After high school, I am attending Moravian College to play baseball and plan on majoring in finance. I hope to attend law school after my four years at Moravian.
Q. What do your consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. My biggest challenge is a challenge that I fully embrace and it is just to continue to get better at whatever I’m doing. Whether it’s on the baseball field or in the classroom, I always see an opportunity to get better in anything that I am doing.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would like to be remembered as a fun, kind and hardworking kid.
Q. Whom do you most admire?
A. I most admire my parents. Everything that I have learned or accomplished has been because of them. They have made tremendous efforts and countless sacrifices to do the best for my brother and I. I will always be thankful for them.
