FALCON INSIDER
Awards night was held virtually May 18. The video can be viewed on the school district’s social media page. Congratulations to all who earned awards.
The last day of school for Salisbury High School seniors is May 29. All other students will enjoy their last day June 1.
A to-be-determined date will be scheduled for students to return their laptops and textbooks and pick up any materials they left in the building.
Despite the fact students are social distancing, there are still many senior activities being planned.
Seniors will visit the high school June 9, 10 and 11 to receive their diplomas. In order to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed, students will be given a set time at which they will come to the high school to receive their diploma. Family members living with the graduating senior are welcome to attend. A professional photo will be taken of each senior and given to the student courtesy of the Class of 2020.
To celebrate the Class of 2020 on what was supposed to be their graduation night, there will be a parade. Seniors will be decorating their cars for the celebration. Community members can watch the parade by visiting the South Mall parking lot where they will be guided as to where to park. All spectators will have to remain in their cars, as will the seniors, who will be driving in their individual cars. More information about the date and time, as well as the parade route, will be announced when it is confirmed with the Salisbury Township Police Department.
A decision will be made July 1 as to whether or not the Class of 2020 will hold an in-person graduation July 22. This will be determined based on the current guidelines. If an in-person graduation cannot be held, then a virtual graduation will be scheduled.
Stay healthy and stay safe, Salisbury.
