Stephen A. Balazs, 72, of Macungie, died May 22, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Rosemary (Fazekas), were married 52 years in February.

Born in Perth Amboy, N.J., he was a son of the late Louis and Joan (Farrington) Balazs.

A Vietnam veteran, he served in the Army and completed his enlistment in the Army Chorus.

An accomplished musician, he played both saxophone and piano.

He bowled in numerous bowling leagues over the years.

His passion was flying model RC airplanes and was a member of several RC clubs in the Lehigh Valley and in North Carolina.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Stephanie, wife of Chris Miller of Zionsville and Aimee, wife of Jeff Wukitch of Pasadena, Md.; and son, Matthew Balazs, husband of Christy (Eckhart), of Colfax, N.C.; and grandchildren Addison Miller and Maisie, Maddux and Parker Wukitch.

Services will be private.
