Glenn B. Gackenbach, 80, of Northampton, died May 12, 2020, in his home. He was the husband of the late Jacqueline B. (Knauss) Gackenbach for 54 years.

Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Stanley and Gladys Gackenbach.

He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He was a reservist in the U.S. Army.

He was a sales manager at Class Janitor Supply Company and later was a night care worker at Kidspeace, where he retired after 20 years of service.

He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Seemsville.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Catasauqua.

He is survived by three daughters, Susan Bennett, Lori Palencar and Jill Gackenbach; a brother, Gary; two grandchildren, Kaitlyne Scheirer and Jenna Palencar; and three great-grandchildren, Heidi, Benjamin and Lydia Scheirer.

He was predeceased by a brother, Keith.

Services will be private. A celebration of life will take place at a future date.
