Clarence E. Sutliff Jr., 79, of Whitehall, died May 12, 2020, in his home. He was the husband of BettyLou (Seeley) Sutliff for 59 years.
Born in Cohecton, N.Y., he was a son of the late Clarence E. Sr. and Arvilla (Peck) Sutliff.
He was a painter for the former J.L. Drywall, Allentown, until he retired in 1988. Before that, he was a truck driver for the former M.T.S. and Matlack Trucking companies, Northampton, for many years.
He was a member of the Northampton Assembly of God, where he was in maintenance, caring for the grass and the outside appearance of the church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. and her husband Kevin Fitzgerald of Brush Prairie, Wash.; a son, Edward A. and his companion Monika Gjonzeneli of Easton; a daughter, Phyllis G. of Whitehall; a son, David L. and his wife Melissa of Walnutport; two sisters, Arvilla Wolfe of Vancouver, Wash., and Patricia McElroy of Honesdale; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be private.
