Mary Ann Young, 76, from Schnecksville, died on May 10, 2020, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown.

Born Dec. 16, 1943, in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late William Kisthardt and Helen (Moll) Kisthardt.

She was the wife of the late William H. Young who died in February 2019.

Last employed in the payroll office of the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., Bethlehem, for seven years, she retired in 1981.

Before that, she worked in the accounting office for the former Highway Express, Allentown, for many years.

She attended St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station, and was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her survivors include a son Richard W. LaBarre and his companion, Shannon McFarland, of Slatington; stepson David W. Young and wife, Margaret, of Round Rock, Texas; brother William Kisthardt of Slatington; and grandchildren Patricia and Ricky.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at St. John’s UCC Cemetery, Laurys Station, with the Rev. Dr. James T. Gottwald officiating.
