The May 6 Hanover Township Council meeting was held via teleconference. The numbers were published on the website to call in.

According to township Manager Melissa Wehr, all township parks are closed, and no reservations are available. No date has been set for the parks to reopen. No one should be using the parks, it was mentioned.

Wehr announced Airport Road construction was scheduled to start this week. The expected completion date is January 2022. Before you mark your calendar, keep in mind delays can and do occur for a variety of reasons, as is the case with the Race Street project, which was expected to be completed in 2018.

Wehr did not have an update on when the Race Street project will be completed.
