Margaret Marie Toth Griffin, 90, of Bethlehem and of Avalon, N.J., died May 12, 2020. She was the wife of the late Dr. Daniel J. Griffin for 67 years.

She was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic HS and Sacred Heart School of Nursing.

She was a member of St. Anne’s Parish activities group for many years and organized fundraising trips for the parish.

She was a past president of the Junior Women’s Club and a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association Women’s Auxiliary. While living in Avalon, she was involved in the preservation and development prevention of the natural bird habitat.

She is survived by four children, Dr. Thomas (Pat) Griffin, Colleen (Roger) Desh, Daneen (Bill) Pieper and Dr. Meg (Marc) Franzen; seven grandsons; five granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

Services are private due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Bethlehem, PA.
