Viola Caroline Heefner, 98, died May 3, 2020, at Westminster Village, Terre Haute, Ind. She was the wife of the late Raymond Heefner, who died Dec. 16, 2001. They were married for 61 years. She was the daughter of the late Anastasia (Kostusiak) and Jakob Boyko, of Drifton.
She and her husband spent most of their married life in Emmaus where they raised their two children. After his death she moved to Terre Haute.
She worked as a sewing machine operator in a shirt factory.
She is survived by a son, Rod (Karen), of Terre Haute, Ind. and daughter, Karen Lee Moore (Earl), of Alva, Fla.; granddaughters, Alison Glyn Pottratz (David), of Lake Jackson, Texas, Shane Donna Marshall (David), of Terre Haute, Ind., Kristin Emily Pease (Patrick) of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Dr. Jenna Lee Moore, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; great-grandsons, Paul Heefner Pease, Luke David Pottratz, William Patrick Pease and Benjamin Scott Pottratz. She was predeceased by sisters, Mary Young (Robert) and Betty Mill (Howard); brother, John Boyko (Nancy).

Graveside services will be held at a later date in Northwood Cemetery, Emmaus.
Arrangements were made by the Callahan & Hughes Funeral in Terre Haute, Ind.
