Lehigh Carbon Community College students in one of the 25 programs in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) could receive up to $5,000 in scholarships per year through a National Science Foundation grant.

The Scholarships in STEM program is designed to encourage students to pursue these promising careers.

Students will:

·Participate in activities related to their area of study;

·Receive support services to help prepare for college and career;

·Work with faculty mentors who will guide them and promote their success; and

·Prepare for the STEM workforce by creating an online portfolio showcasing their goals, reflections and achievements.

The application deadline for the fall semester is June 30.
