Paul P. Roman, 93, of Nazareth and formerly of Northampton, died April 30, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson campus, Easton. He was the husband of the late Vilma A. (Kranitz) Roman.
Born in Egypt, Whitehall, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Jumba) Roman.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a school bus driver for First Student Inc., Northampton, for 20 years until he retired in 1988. Before that, he was a sewing machine mechanic at Mill Crest Manufacturing, Bethlehem, for several years. He earlier worked at Quaker Shoe Company, Allentown.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.
He was a member of the Sokol Club, Whitehall.
He is survived by two sons, David P. and his wife Nancy of Northampton and Anthony P. and his wife Susan of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren, Bailey, Riley, Kaius and Korah.
He was predeceased by a brother, George Roman.
Services were private.
