Anna C. Masetti, 91, of 800 Hausman Road, South Whitehall, formerly of Somers, Westchester County, N.Y., died May 4, 2020, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late William R. “Bill” Masetti to whom she was married 67 years.

Born Oct. 5, 1928, in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of Paolo and Gemma (Bianchetto) Centioni.

A first-generation American, she spoke fluent Italian, and spent a portion of her childhood in Italy.

After graduating Washington Irving High School, she worked as a secretary for Socony Mobil, Manhattan, N.Y.

She and her husband married in 1949 and raised their family in Yonkers and Harrison, N.Y.

After her husband’s retirement, they settled in Heritage Hills, Somers, N.Y., for 20 years.

Following his death in 2017, she moved to Allentown to be nearer to her sons.

A homemaker, devoted to her husband and sons throughout her life, she volunteered for several charities, enjoyed cooking, reading, needlepoint, tennis, bowling and playing the mandolin.

She and her husband loved traveling including many trips to Saratoga, N.Y., Ogunquit, Maine, and Paradise Island, Bahamas.

Her survivors include sons Andrew P. and his wife, Kathi, Alexander W. and his wife, Catherine; grandchildren Katherine, Elizabeth Smith, Alexander Jr., Daniel and Natalie; and great-grandchildren Harper and Augustine Smith.

She was predeceased by her brother, Ercole Centioni.

A private graveside service will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, N.Y. There will be no public calling hours.
