Marking period three grade report cards are expected to be sent out May 6 due to the extension of the third marking period.
As a result of school closing, both the Junior Prom and Senior Ball have been postponed with Afterball being cancelled.
Junior Prom has been moved to Aug. 7. There are two alternate dates for Senior Ball: June 20 and July 17. Google form surveys have been sent out in school district-wide emails to all juniors and seniors asking about details of availability and interest in attendance for prom.
Students who want to be exempt from a class by testing out should visit a link to a Google document posted on the Emmaus High School website. Students should complete this online testing out document by May 15 on their East Penn School District email account.
Students who already completed the form to receive approval for testing out during the summer session are now required to complete this online form.
Any senior interested in drawing a cover for the 130th commencement program should submit their artwork to the activities office by May 15 (email biobst@eastpennsd.org). The design can be in black and white or color and must be in good taste/school appropriate. It can be hand drawn or computer drawn, must include “Emmaus High School 2020 130th Commencement” and should fit 8 ½” x 11.”
Students looking to be an EHS Hornet Ambassador can now hand in applications for the 2020-2021 school year. The Hornet Ambassadors help with tours of the school and help new students adapt to high school. Any student interested in joining the EHS Hornet Ambassador group should visit the link to the application on the Emmaus website and complete and hand in the application by May 8 via EPSD email accounts. Students who apply are expected to receive word by mid-July.
