Rita Kolar, 84, of Whitehall, died April 22, 2020, at Atria Senior Living, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Kolar.

Born in Evanston, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Michael G. and Margaret J. (Dugin) Duskey.

She was a parish secretary for 27 years for St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church, Wallingford.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a volunteer pierogi maker.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Kolar and Donna Anderson and her husband Jim; a son, James F.; a daughter-in-law, Paula Kolar; nine grandchildren, Jenna Bell, Jason Bell and his wife Christina, Shelby and Lindsay Vittek and Michael, Brian, Matthew, Janel and Corey Kolar; and three great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jackson and William.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert M.; and a brother, Francis Duskey.

Services are private.
