Bonita L. Kotch, 76, of Cherryville, died April 24, 2020, at Arden Court Assisted Living, Allentown. She was the wife of Albert J. Kotch for 41 years.

Born in Laurys Station, she was a daughter of the late Monroe and Violet (Stankovich) Schaadt.

She was a 1961 graduate of Parkland High School before graduating from Bethlehem Business School.

She was an executive secretary for Bank of America, from which she retired after 30 years. She was then a part-time administrative clerk for five years for Bethlehem Area Public Library before serving as a part-time food server/cashier for Northampton Area School District.

She was a member of and a greeter at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station.

She was a member of Indianland Garden Club, where she served as treasurer for nine years. She was a member of Professional Secretaries of America.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Samuel Schaadt and his wife Janet; two sisters-in-law, Rose Marie Simone and Helen Sodl and her husband Frank; and six nieces and nephews.
