David D. Roper, 82, of Bethlehem, died April 8, 2020, at his residence. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Donald and Grace (Williams) Roper. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Wright) Roper for 54 years.

He was an English teacher for East Penn School District for many years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother-in-law, Lloyd Wright; and a niece, Lisa King.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family
