Sahaydak to PSU

Liberty’s Sander Sahaydak may already be known as the best high school kicker to come out of the Lehigh Valley, and Penn State has certainly noticed.

Sahaydak, a junior, was offered a full scholarship from Penn State a few weekends ago, making the Nittany Lions the top billing out of the three FBS schools (Rutgers and Army) currently vying for his services.

Sahaydak was ranked as the top kicker for the Class of 2021 by Kohl’s Professional Camps after he had an impressive showing at winter camps.

His junior season led him to earn first-team EPC South honors after nailing 10 field goals, four of which came over 40-yards, including an EPC record 53-yard field goal against Central Catholic.

Sahaydak is also member of Liberty’s soccer team but will not play in fall to concentrate on football.
