Betty I. Jones, 92, formerly of Fountain Street, Allentown, died April 23, 2020.

Born in Eddystone, Delaware County, and raised in Elkton, Md., she was the daughter of the late James R. and Daisy L. (Belles) Jones.

A 1944 graduate of Elkton High School, she was an assembly line operator for the former General Electric, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her roses, classic country music, dancing and visiting with her Elkton family.

Her survivors include her son Brett J. Jones and his wife, Geralyn, of Schnecksville; several nieces and nephews; and many grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was predeceased by sisters Violet, Pearl, Margaret, Madoline and a brother Victor.

Private graveside services will be held at North East United Methodist Cemetery, North East, Md. There will be no public calling hours.
