Albert J. Bertoni, 99, of Whitehall, died April 11, 2020, in Phoebe Health Care Center, Allentown.
He was the husband of the late Jennie (Kochan) Bertoni.
Born in North Coplay, he was a son of the late Angelo and Beatrice (Maramotti) Bertoni.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was the owner and operator of and mechanic for, along with his brother, Peter, the former Bertoni Brothers Garage, Allentown, for 31 years.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.
His survivors include a son, James A. and his wife, Susan; granddaughters, Alison and her husband, Sean Scanlon, of Fogelsville and Erin and her husband, Joshua Ketchum, of Red Hill; grandson James and his wife, Samantha Love, of Astoria, Queens, N.Y.; great-grandchildren Liam and Lillian Scanlon, Claire and Evelyn Ketchum and Cleo and Owen Love-Bertoni; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Cafiero, Libro, Ribello, John, Peter and Charles; and sisters, Mary Bertoni, Linda Kreglow, Christina Marth, Florence Carson, Ida Moravek and Julia Wolfer.
Services will be private. There will be a memorial Mass and a celebration of life at a later date.
