Ronald S. Butz Sr., 80, of Whitehall, died April 10, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Bernice S. (Nichol) Butz for 28 years.

Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Stanton K. Sr. and Ruth (McNeill) Butz.

He was in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

He was a supervisor at Fuller Company, Catasauqua, for more than 40 years before he retired.

He was a member of Fullerton Fire Company No. 1.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Ronald S. Butz Jr. and his companion Terri Nonnemacher; a daughter, Heidi Butz; two stepdaughters, Debbie and Toni; three grandchildren; a sister, Ruth Ann Borst and her husband Dennis; a brother-in-law, Richard Haines; nieces; nephews; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Haines; and a brother, Stanton K. Butz Jr. and his wife Mary Lou.

Services will be private.
