Philip S. Fisher

Philip “Fish” S. Fisher, 81, of Catasauqua, died April 18, 2020, at Arden Courts, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Arlette “Artie” (Miller) Fisher for 46 years.

He was a son of the late Hugh A. and Ethel (McAllister) Fisher.

He attended Allentown High School.

He was an auto body painter for Daku Auto Body, North Catasauqua, from 1958 until he retired in 2003. He previously was a painter for J.O. Kraft and Sons, Allentown.

He was a volunteer firefighter in Catasauqua from 1964 until he entered Arden Courts.

He was, for many years, a volunteer with Das Awkscht Fescht. He cruised with the Ontelaunee Regional Antique and Automobile Club. He was a former member of the Lehigh Valley Timing Association, a drag racing association.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise Drabick with Bob; two sons, Philip Jr. with Dawn and James; three grandchildren, Max, Jacob and Katie; two sisters-in-law, Dian Fisher and Darlene McGonigle; a brother-in-law, Danny Miller; nieces; nephews; and a companion, Joanne Ebert.

He was predeceased by an older brother, Hugh “Sonny” Jr.

Services will be private.

Contributions may be made to Camelot for Children, c/o the funeral home, 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua, 18032.
