Barbara L. Cook Schleicher, 79, of Wescosville, died April 19, 2020, in her home.

She and her husband, Kenneth P. Schleicher, were married 35 years.

Born Nov. 12, 1940, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. and Dorothy J. (Knoll) Eltz.

She was a line technician at the former Schaffer and Stroh breweries, Fogelsville, for 12 years before retiring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Roger R. Cook Jr. of Allentown, Debra A. Heinly (Keith) of New Tripoli, and Lisa A. Berger (Kevin) of Allentown; stepdaughters Paula S. Stoeckel (Richard) of Emmaus, and Nanci L. Genovese of Whitehall; sister Jean Power (Richard) of Cooper City, Fla.; grandchildren Natasha, Austin and Jake; and great-grandchildren Tyler and Devon.

She was predeceased by brothers Larry R. and Dennis E. Eltz.

A private graveside service will be held at Solomon’s Church Cemetery, Macungie. There will be no public calling hours.
