Stephen Thomas Schwartz, 72, of Egypt, died April 2, 2020, at Lehigh Center, Macungie.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank J. and Esther (Feiller) Schwartz.

He was a Parkland High School graduate.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a mechanic for Eberhardt’s Garage, Egypt, for almost 40 years.

He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714, Northampton, as well as the American Legion.

He is survived by a son, Steve and his wife Jennifer; a daughter, Ruthann; five grandchildren, Tori, Dakota, Katelynn, AmberLynn and Bayli; four sisters, Carolyn Oswald, Mary Ann Saeger, Esther Check and Maria Schwartz; five brothers, Michael F., Paul E., Robert E., Charles S. and Frank G.; nieces; and nephews.

Services are postponed until further notice.
