Marilyn J. Stephen, 89, of Coplay, died March 31, 2020, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Stanley F. Stephen.

Born in North Whitehall Township, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Mabel (Fenstermaker) Diehl.

She was a customer service representative at the former Two Guys Department Store, Whitehall, for 24 years before she retired. She also worked at the former Golden Sun Potato Chip Factory, Slatington.

She was a member of Egypt Community Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a son, Brent S. of Coplay and his companion Ann M. Mullner of Whitehall; a brother, Carlton Diehl of Daytona Beach, Fla.; a sister, Dorothy Stephen of Coplay; two grandchildren, Matthew B. and his wife Candace and Samantha J. and her companion Rudy Silguero; and five great-grandchildren, Elianna, Addilyn, Landon, Kataleya and Mateo.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Brenda, Donald and Bruce Diehl.

Services are private.
