William D. Faulkner, 91, of Catasauqua, died March 29, 2020, at Phoebe Home, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late David P. and Emma (Boyer) Faulkner.

He was a 1946 graduate of Catasauqua High School.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953.

He worked mostly in the purchasing department of Western Electric/ATT for 39 years until he retired in 1987.

He was a member of Catasauqua Presbyterian Church.

He was a member of Catasauqua American Legion Post 215.

He is survived by a niece, Gwen C. Barker and her family in North Augusta, S.C.; and friends.

He was predeceased by a sister, Dr. Marion Faulkner Chastain; and a brother, John Price Faulkner.

A service of remembrance will be announced at a later time.
