Joseph F. Gasper Jr., of Perkasie and formerly of Northampton and Bethlehem, died March 22, 2020. He was the husband of Diane (Drozda) Gasper for 44 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Josephine (Nierer) Gasper.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for more than 23 years. He retired in 1991 as a captain.

He worked at Ice City, Allentown, and was a district manager for Namco Pool & Patio’s stores in Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland. He was the vice president and director of compliance both at First Savings Bank, Perkasie, and then with Penn Community Bank, from which he retired in May 2016.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ryan with Jessica and Michael; two brothers, Gerry with Bonnie and Thomas; two sisters, Mary Ann with Neil and Judy with Michael; a sister-in-law, Louise; two grandchildren, Connor and Kaileigh; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Frank; mother-in-law, Theresa; and a brother-in-law, William.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
