James W. Brown Jr., 85, died March 14, 2020. He was the husband of Ruth (Callum) Brown for 67 years.

He was the son of the late James and Margaret Brown.

He was a graduate of DeSales University.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. He retired at the rank of master sergeant. He was then a quality control inspector with the Department of Defense.

He was a member of Bethany Wesleyan Church, Cherryville.

He is survived by five daughters, Debra Burch with Larry Best, Donna LaTulippe with David, Laura Kunsman with Brian, Gail Schlichting with Keith and Tracy Genovese; 17 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Donald.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
