Helen M. Wolfer

Helen M. Wolfer, 87, formerly of Whitehall, died March 18, 2020, at Brookdale Dublin Senior Living. She was the wife of the late William M. Wolfer for 53 years.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Ignatz and Agnes (Hacker) Stangl.

She was for many years a seamstress in the garment industry.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

She is survived by a sister, Margaret of Whitehall; a brother, Alfred of Allentown; two daughters, Cynthia and her husband William Sharp of Glenside and Carolyn of Trumbauersville; two sons, William and his wife Rochelle of Coplay and Mark of Schnecksville; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Elizabeth, Carrie, William, Kayla, Katie and Jonathan; and five great-grandchildren, Austin, Aiden, Hailey, Kole and Kane.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Rudy, John and Bill Stangl; and four sisters; Emma Hacker, Freida Czapp, Hilda Zimits and Agnes Schleder.

A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held at a later date.
