Marilyn K. Newhard, 69, of Northampton, died March 4, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice Unit, Allentown. She was the wife of the Timothy “Nubey” S. Newhart for 22 years.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Robert H. and Virginia M. (Temple) Humphrey.

She was a 1968 graduate of Northampton Area High School. She was an Allentown Business School graduate.

She worked in the scheduling department of Lehigh Valley Cardiology, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem, for more than 20 years until she retired in 2012.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She volunteered at the Muhlenberg hospital gift shop. She participated in Lehigh Valley Rocks. She was a member of the Alliance Volunteer Fire Company and the Northampton Liederkrantz.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Leah and her husband Matthew Szoke of Moore Township; a son, Rick H. and his wife Devon D. Druckenmiller of Moore Township; four grandchildren, Madalyn, Jaicey, Dustin and Makinley; two brothers, Charles and his wife Donna of Easton and Michael and his wife Sheila of Fogelsville; nieces; and nephews.

There will be a calling time 9:30-11 a.m. March 21 in the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton. There will be memorial services 11 a.m. March 21 at the church, 902 Lincoln Ave., Northampton.
