LeRoy J. Bickert, 89, of Allentown and formerly of Northampton, died March 11, 2020, at Cedarbrrok Nursing Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Bauer) Bickert for 64 years.

Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Stanley Sr. and Alice (Gower) Bickert.

He worked in maintenance for seven years at Jack and Gino Sportswear, Bath. Before that, he was a crane operator for 30 years at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He was a former member of both the Bowmanstown and Petersville rod and gun clubs.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Carolyn A. and her husband Scott Shook of Macungie; a brother, Leonard Bickert of Allentown; and a granddaughter, Krista Shook.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Donna Bickert; four brothers; and five sisters.
