Stephen J. Paukovits, 89, of East Allen Township, died March 7, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Angela (Dischinat) Paukovits for 68 years.
Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Bauer) Paukovits.
He was a Central Catholic High School graduate.
He worked for Keystone Portland Cement until he retired after 40 years of service.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Bath, and was a former member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Coplay.
He was a president of United Lime and Gypsum Workers Union Local 547. He was a member of the Nazareth Chrysanthemum Club. He was also a member of Young at Heart, Coplay Saengerbund, Keystone Rod & Gun Club and the Knights of Columbus, Nazareth.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara P. Raykos and her husband Stephen; three sons, Stephen M. and his wife Shelly, John M. and his wife Christine and James F. and his wife Wendy; nine grandchildren, Lori Zuber and her husband Zach, Mindy Adams and her husband Charles, Stephen and his wife Jessica, Daniel and his wife Ashley, Joshua and his wife Samatha Davidson, Matthew, Hannah, Nicole Kichline and companion Mike LoCastro and Alex Lopez; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Frank and his wife Monica; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Paukovits.
