Margaret Sayuk, 96, formerly of Northampton, died Feb. 22, 2020, in Brooksville, Fla. She was the wife of the late Stephen Sayuk.

Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late Semen and Mary (Sobeck) Sliworsky.

She worked for many years in the garment and textile industry.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

She volunteered at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Club, with church fundraising and other events.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa and her husband Walter Panik of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two sons, Stephen M. and his wife Veronica of Adventura, Fla., and the Rev. Monsignor Thomas Sayuk, with whom she resided; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
