Lorene J. Lazarus, 95, of Whitehall, died Feb. 18, 2020, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown campus. She was the wife of the late Calvin H. Lazarus.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late Harvey V. and Gertie H. (Stettler) Roth.

She was the owner and operator of Lazarus Farm Market, Whitehall, for more than 65 years.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Evangelical Lutheran Church, Egypt.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol A. Bennecoff of Kutztown, Gloria J. and her husband Daniel Bingaman of Tamaqua and Donna H. Strawbridge of Whitehall; five sons, Grant A. and his wife Linda M., Gary L. and his wife Nancy, Wayne H. and his wife Grace and Lynn E. and his wife Ilene, all of Germansville, and Leslie D. and his wife Rhonda of Breinigsville; 20 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Janet M. Lazarus and Susan M. Snyder; two grandsons, Benjamin R. Lazarus and Brett Snyder; a sister, Shirley Manescu; and three brothers, Stanley, Nevin and Clifford.

There will be a calling hour 12:30-2 p.m., followed by 2 p.m. services, Feb. 28 at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
