Terry S. Wenhold, 63, of New Tripoli, died Jan. 10, 2020, three days shy of his 64th birthday.

Originally from Allentown, he was the son of the late Hartford and Elsie (Hendricks) Wenhold.

Terry and his wife, Terri (Koch) Wenhold celebrated 45 years of marriage last October.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Melanie (Shawn) Hansut of New Tripoli, with whom he resided, Elizabeth Wenhold of Allentown, James Wenhold (Michelle) of Slatington; granddaughter Hannah Hansut whom he adored; siblings Lucille (Robert) Shupp of Chandler, Ariz., Gloria (Arlin) Moyer of Emmaus, Fay Ann (Michael) Kanusky of Allentown and brother William Wenhold of Walnutport; four nephews; and two nieces.

He was predeceased by a nephew.

A 1973 graduate of William Allen High School, he then went on to work in the plumbing field.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and working on cars and was known for his generosity helping others and his quirky sense of humor.
