STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?
A. The members of my family are my mom, dad, sister, my brothers and my dog, Tuck.
Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior at Salisbury High School?
A. I love that I’m able to come to school everyday and see everyone I’ve grown up with start to plan the next chapter of their lives.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. Currently, my favorite subject is media management; I feel like that’s the class that allows me to be creative. I love editing features and creating a show that the rest of the school will watch.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I’m proud to say I’m currently a member of Salisbury’s National Honor Society.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. My favorite extracurricular activity is participating in the club STARs. I’m currently an officer and I love coming up with new ideas for us to do.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. I plan on furthering my education and attending Temple University; TU Owls baby!
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. I think my biggest challenge is trying to find a balance between work and life; I was either too focused on school and work or too focused on myself and making memories. I think I’ve finally found a balance I can maintain.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would love to be remembered for being kind and funny.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire both my mom and dad for raising me while still being really young; they are my heroes.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Remember there is life beyond school; focus on yourself while also doing your best in school.
